Straw bale gardening uses the bales themselves as both garden bed and growing medium, the result is an inexpensive method of growing organic plants and it is a great alternative to container gardening. Pat Parker, our experienced Master Gardener and Ace Greenhouse Manager, will instruct us on how to build a straw bale garden, how it works,  it’s advantages, and what you can expect to grow.
